According to the LA Times, Dennis Zine, director of the LA Police Protective League and a former street cop, has on three occasions commandeered vehicles to pursue bad guys. Once he commandeered a delivery truck, once a city trash truck, and once a bicycle which he soon discovered had no brakes. — Quick, he’s getting aw-a-a-a-A-A-A-A-Y!
