Vacation without the Stress

Planning for a family road trip can be overwhelming, especially if your family members have different and multiple interests. Although your well-deserved break may still be months away, now is a good time to get a head start on planning the perfect getaway.

Even if you’re on a tighter budget this year, a vacation is still very much possible. While roundtrip airfare for the entire family may become pricey, consider taking a road trip to a nearby state and visiting some free attractions. While a retreat to a luxury beach-side hotel may seem like the perfect location for a vacation, there are many other, cheaper, ways to have a good time without breaking the bank—after all, a successful family vacation is more about spending time with the family than the cost of the location.

On this episode of Vehicle Vibes Radio, host Marcia Hansen will speak to Kim Orlando from TravelingMom.com, a site with tips and expert advice about planning a successful road trip. With everything from finding the best deals to stories of vacations from other moms, TravelingMom.com offers a wide array of resources to plan a great vacation and even has a page dedicated to popular free tourist attractions in each state. Kim will share her tips on how to plan a family vacation.

So start thinking about your vacation early this year and tune in to learn some great ways to plan a fun family vacation without breaking the bank.
