Pledge to drive safe, sober and buckled up.
During the holiday season, MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) conducts the Tie One on For Safety campaign in which they ask Americans to drive safe, sober and buckled up. You can show your support by putting a window decal or ribbon on your car. Get a decal or ribbon from your local MADD office.
In addition to the Tie One on For Safety campaign, December 16, 2009 through January 3, 2010, begins the holiday crackdown against drunk drivers. The Over the Limit, Under Arrest campaign seeks to send the message that if you drink and drive, you’ll be arrested for DUI.
These public service campaigns and the increased presence of law enforcement officers on our roadways aim to keep us all safer on the road this holiday season.
Pledge your support and tie one on for safety.
