At first glance, the automotive industry may seem male dominated. However, there are many women who have excelled in the field and some who have opened their own repair shops.
On this Tuesday’s episode, Marcia will talk with Jeanne Silver, entrepreneur and co-owner of Butterfield Bodyworks CARSTAR, an Allstate certified repair center that specializes in collision repair. Jeanne has had over 30 years experience in the automotive industry, 13 of those years as the co-owner of CARSTAR.
As a small business owner, Jeanne is a strong advocate for women in business and sits on the board of the Women’s Industry Networks, the Collision Industry Council and other groups focused on women in business.
Jeanne will be sharing her knowledge of car care, car repair and also stories about owning a small business in a male-dominated industry.
