New York City has unseated Miami for the title as the worst city in the U.S. for road rage. NYC moved up from #3 to the number one spot in 2008, while Miami fell off the list of the top 5 cities with the worst road rage.
The study, conducted in 2009 by a national auto club, determined people consider angry drivers and aggressive driving such as cutting lanes, tailgating, speeding or honking to be most characteristic of road rage.
Road rage is especially common during rush hour when stressed out people are stuck in traffic during their commute home.
